I FINALLY got my keyboard back!

My friend, Chris, used it for a recording he did about a year and half ago... and has had it every since!

Not that I have time to play right now... But by the magic of muscle memory, I can still (sloppily) stumble through Fur Elise and Piano Man.

It's from the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I need to get back there with my new camera and try this shot again.

This shot was taken while I was standing on our great green couch... facing the kitchen (and my wine bottle collection). It was christmas time as you can tell by the lights and all the christmas cards. My beloved wine bottle collection is partially visible as well.

Service Work

So! What have here are tubes!!!

Wes spent most of the week in a plant doing service work. There were 20,000 of those little tubes and he and the team he was with had to shoot brushes through every single one and clean them out. Quelle bonhuer!!!

Oh, BioChem

I really enjoyed learning BioChem... but I really do NOT enjoy being tested on it.

Our last test (before the final) is tomorrow... here's my one sided cheat sheet. I always end up putting too much time into actually writing the cheat sheet instead of actually learning things... so they typically hinder my abilities to do well on tests. Ah well. We'll see.

Missing it...

So I posted this image today because this is a sight that I truely miss.

When Wes and I lived in Gwynedd, we had horses in our front, side, and back yard. This shot was taken from right outside our front door.

Ollie and Apollo are in the front with tiny Jamison in the back.

Wes and The Trump

Wes and I went to Atlantic City, New Jersey Saturday night with my sister and her boyfriend. I know I'm only supposed to post one picture... But I haven't had the time to update at often as I'd like so hopefully this will make up for some of that.

This is the creepy cabinet that is in Wes' parents garage. It's creepy because the paint is all chipping and peeling and it looks like it belongs in a horror movie.

I tried to do some antiquing effects to it to make it appear like it did come out of a horror movie.

I may or may not have accomplished this. Only tomorrow and no vodka will tell!!!

Torn

On Mondays (my only 'free night'), I'm often stuck between dickin' around on the computer and legitimate stuff-that-needs-done stuff. I know there is a better way to layer photo's so that my figures aren't both ghosties... I'll work on that... instead of fold laundry!!!!!

I'm no Picasso

I downloaded Picasa Photo Editing program today.

My Nikon editing program was absolutely glorious, but my 30 day trial had run up and it was $150 to buy a code for it (YIKES!).

This Picasa seems fun and easy though. I was my test subject, of course. I was trying to go for Girl with the Pearl Earing, but just ended up looking goofy.

So I give you, Girl that Looks Goofy. An original!

Car Ridez to Barz

Tonight was Jeff's birthday!

Since it was also band practice night, Young Jeff was in town and we got to go out and do some celebrating with him!

This is a photo I took while we were waiting in the car for him. I thought Wes ruined it by turning the car off and thus turning on the overhead light... but it turned out well over all.

I need to do some work on the bar photos so hopefully one of them later!

Rainy Days

Although Friday's have a rep for being glorious... this one was anything but.

It was raining all morning and as I walked across campus to get to my car to go to work.

When I got to work? Of course the sun came out and the skies cleared.
