I came back to Perkasie and did a photo shoot for Monique. She wants to send in some photo's for a modeling contest. Out of 300 photo's, there are only a hand full that will work... which is fine because I believe she can only send in 4!!!

Wesley washed his bike yesterday and I was close by with camera in hand. There was so really neat pictures so I think I might post a couple of those later this week (if I don't get a chance to take the camera out).

Scallop Capenelli

This was the dish I got at the Perk for my review.

Scallop Capenelli with fresh sweet corn (straight off the cob!) and tender, tender pieces of beef in a light cream sauce. With Avia Pinot Grigio

Da Vinci

I half-traced, half-guessed on this. I have a calender of Da Vinci's work and this is one of his pieces.

I'm deciding between this portrait and his self-portrait for a potential next tattoo...

This one would definately be "prettier," but Da Vinci's self portrait is pretty bad ass.

UGH!

This is the tiny "hallway" at the top of the stairs between our two rooms. It drives me CRAZY how cluttered it is.

It's worse than usual in this photo because I was actually in the process of cleaning (and things always get messier before they get cleaner). Half of that stuff went to recycling so it's not so bad now...

but still

Identity Crisis

I found an Apple sticker that came with my iPod and stuck it on my IBM ThinkPad for the sole purpose of taking this photo.

Does anyone have a guess as to what these photo's are of?

I'm really trying to work on my close up... but I'm discovering that I have really, really poor lighting...

So... better lighting and a remote are some immediate changes I need to make!

Anywho... I'll give you a hint! It's kinda gross but really gratifying. This is something that people generally fuss over and get uber frustrated about.

I FINALLY got some (read: 1) good photo's of the Philly skyline!

I need to go down there one day with the intent of taking photo's... I think Fairmount Park and the Museum would be super places take photo's of.

I attempted to stand in the middle of Market street a couple of times for this photo... but at the risk of my life, gave up on that ambition...

Famous

Here is Wes and I standing next to our photo at the Drexel Senior Thesis Exhibit! Sam only had six photo's up, but ours made it (somehow!). It's difficult to see Wes in the picture... but he's in there, hiding behind the curtain on the door!

Neck

This was part of a larger photo... but I was making some sort of really strange face so decided to edit that out (thanks Picasa!). I love this necklace... wesley got it for me for as an anniversary gift :) It matches my tattoo's!

Moonlight

This photo didn't turn out as well as I had hoped... There was too much "other" light around to really get a good shot of the moon. It's still interesting, just not what I was after.

Feel-Good Mashed Potato Man

Feel-Good Mashed Potato Man. I created him becuase I wans't feeling good and needed a little lift-me-up. He is made up mostly of mashed potatoes, his arms are thyme twigs, his hat is the top of a strawberry, his smiley mouth is parsley, and his eyes are brownie goop. Who wouldn't feel good looking at a creature like that?
